How to uninstall or remove html2text software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed html2text package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove html2text 

Uninstall html2text including dependent package

If you would like to remove html2text and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove html2text 
Use Purging html2text

If you use with purge options to html2text package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge html2text 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove html2text
