heat-cfntools software package provides Tools required to be installed on Heat provisioned cloud, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install heat-cfntools
heat-cfntools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the heat-cfntools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep heat-cfntools *
You will get with heat-cfntools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
