hash-slinger software package provides tools to generate special DNS records, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hash-slinger
hash-slinger is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hash-slinger package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hash-slinger *
You will get with hash-slinger package name, version, architecture and description in a table
