hamlib4 software package provides virtual package provided by libhamlib2, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hamlib4
hamlib4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hamlib4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hamlib4*
You will get with hamlib4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
