gupnp-tools software package provides tools for testing UPnP devices and control points, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gupnp-tools
gupnp-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gupnp-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gupnp-tools *
You will get with gupnp-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
