gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx software package provides Speech recognition tool - gstreamer plugin, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx
gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx *
You will get with gstreamer0.10-pocketsphinx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
