groff-x11 software package provides virtual package provided by groff, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install groff-x11
groff-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the groff-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep groff-x11*
You will get with groff-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
