How to uninstall or remove gpx2shp software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gpx2shp package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gpx2shp 

Uninstall gpx2shp including dependent package

If you would like to remove gpx2shp and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gpx2shp 
Use Purging gpx2shp

If you use with purge options to gpx2shp package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gpx2shp 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gpx2shp
