golang-tools software package provides virtual package provided by golang-go, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-tools
golang-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-tools*
You will get with golang-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
