gnome-www-browser software package provides virtual package provided by chromium, firefox-esr, epiphany-browser, iceweasel, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-www-browser
gnome-www-browser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-www-browser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-www-browser*
You will get with gnome-www-browser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
