gnome-speech-ibmtts software package provides GNOME text-to-speech library (IBMTTS engine support), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-speech-ibmtts
gnome-speech-ibmtts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-speech-ibmtts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-speech-ibmtts *
You will get with gnome-speech-ibmtts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
