gnokii-cli software package provides Datasuite for mobile phone management (console interface), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnokii-cli
gnokii-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnokii-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnokii-cli *
You will get with gnokii-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
