How to uninstall or remove glibc-source software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed glibc-source package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove glibc-source 

Uninstall glibc-source including dependent package

If you would like to remove glibc-source and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove glibc-source 
Use Purging glibc-source

If you use with purge options to glibc-source package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge glibc-source 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove glibc-source
