gfal2-plugin-gridftp software package provides Provide the gridftp access for gfal2, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfal2-plugin-gridftp
gfal2-plugin-gridftp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfal2-plugin-gridftp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfal2-plugin-gridftp *
