gem-plugin-record software package provides virtual package provided by gem-plugin-lqt, gem-plugin-v4l2, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gem-plugin-record
gem-plugin-record is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gem-plugin-record package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gem-plugin-record*
You will get with gem-plugin-record package name, version, architecture and description in a table
