gem-plugin-jpeg software package provides Graphics Environment for Multimedia - JPEG support, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gem-plugin-jpeg
gem-plugin-jpeg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gem-plugin-jpeg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gem-plugin-jpeg *
You will get with gem-plugin-jpeg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
