gccgo-multilib software package provides Go compiler, based on the GCC backend (multilib files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gccgo-multilib
gccgo-multilib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gccgo-multilib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gccgo-multilib *
You will get with gccgo-multilib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
