gap-pkg-openmath software package provides virtual package provided by gap-openmath, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gap-pkg-openmath
gap-pkg-openmath is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gap-pkg-openmath package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gap-pkg-openmath*
You will get with gap-pkg-openmath package name, version, architecture and description in a table
