How to uninstall or remove freebsd6-buildutils software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed freebsd6-buildutils package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove freebsd6-buildutils

Uninstall freebsd6-buildutils including dependent package

If you would like to remove freebsd6-buildutils and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freebsd6-buildutils
Use Purging freebsd6-buildutils

If you use with purge options to freebsd6-buildutils package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge freebsd6-buildutils

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freebsd6-buildutils
