fortran95-compiler software package provides virtual package provided by gfortran-4.8, gfortran-4.9, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fortran95-compiler
fortran95-compiler is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fortran95-compiler package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fortran95-compiler*
