fonts-japanese-gothic software package provides virtual package provided by fonts-ipafont-nonfree-jisx0208, fonts-ipafont-gothic, fonts-takao-gothic, fonts-ipaexfont-gothic, fonts-vlgothic, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-japanese-gothic
fonts-japanese-gothic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-japanese-gothic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-japanese-gothic*
