firmware-samsung software package provides Binary firmware for Samsung MFC video codecs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firmware-samsung
firmware-samsung is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firmware-samsung package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firmware-samsung *
You will get with firmware-samsung package name, version, architecture and description in a table
