How to Install firebird-utils software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

firebird-utils software package provides virtual package provided by firebird2.5-super, firebird2.5-classic-common, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install firebird-utils

firebird-utils is installed in your system.

Make ensure the firebird-utils package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird-utils*

You will get with firebird-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
