fcitx-skk software package provides Japanese SKK input engine for Fcitx, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-skk
fcitx-skk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-skk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-skk *
You will get with fcitx-skk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
