How to uninstall or remove ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di

Uninstall ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di including dependent package

If you would like to remove ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di

Use Purging ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di

If you use with purge options to ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ext4-modules-3.16.0-4-s390x-di
