ewf-tools software package provides collection of tools for reading and writing EWF files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ewf-tools
ewf-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ewf-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ewf-tools *
You will get with ewf-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
