engrampa-dbg software package provides archive manager for MATE (debugging symbols), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install engrampa-dbg
engrampa-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the engrampa-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep engrampa-dbg *
You will get with engrampa-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
