How to uninstall or remove education-geography software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed education-geography package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove education-geography

Uninstall education-geography including dependent package

If you would like to remove education-geography and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove education-geography

Use Purging education-geography

If you use with purge options to education-geography package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge education-geography

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove education-geography
