How to Install dpkg-ruby software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

dpkg-ruby software package provides virtual package provided by ruby-debian, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dpkg-ruby

dpkg-ruby is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dpkg-ruby package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dpkg-ruby*

You will get with dpkg-ruby package name, version, architecture and description in a table
