How to Install doom-engine software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

doom-engine software package provides virtual package provided by doomsday, chocolate-doom, prboom-plus, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install doom-engine

doom-engine is installed in your system.

Make ensure the doom-engine package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep doom-engine*

You will get with doom-engine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
