django-filter software package provides filter Django QuerySets based on user selections (transitional package), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install django-filter
django-filter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the django-filter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep django-filter *
You will get with django-filter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
