distcc-pump software package provides pump mode for distcc a distributed compiler client and server, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install distcc-pump
distcc-pump is installed in your system.
Make ensure the distcc-pump package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep distcc-pump *
You will get with distcc-pump package name, version, architecture and description in a table
