How to uninstall or remove debichem-crystallography software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed debichem-crystallography package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove debichem-crystallography

Uninstall debichem-crystallography including dependent package

If you would like to remove debichem-crystallography and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove debichem-crystallography

Use Purging debichem-crystallography

If you use with purge options to debichem-crystallography package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge debichem-crystallography

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove debichem-crystallography
