How to uninstall or remove crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir

Uninstall crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir

Use Purging crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir

If you use with purge options to crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove crypto-dm-modules-3.16.0-4-kir
