console-tools-data software package provides virtual package provided by console-data, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install console-tools-data
console-tools-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the console-tools-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep console-tools-data*
You will get with console-tools-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
