How to uninstall or remove clam-networkeditor software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed clam-networkeditor package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove clam-networkeditor 

Uninstall clam-networkeditor including dependent package

If you would like to remove clam-networkeditor and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clam-networkeditor 
Use Purging clam-networkeditor

If you use with purge options to clam-networkeditor package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge clam-networkeditor 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clam-networkeditor
