cinder-backup software package provides OpenStack block storage system - Backup server, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cinder-backup
cinder-backup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cinder-backup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cinder-backup *
You will get with cinder-backup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
