How to Install chessx software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

chessx software package provides chess database, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install chessx

chessx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the chessx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chessx *

You will get with chessx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
