ceph-test software package provides Ceph test and benchmarking tools, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ceph-test
ceph-test is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ceph-test package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ceph-test *
You will get with ceph-test package name, version, architecture and description in a table
