cdrom-core-modules-3.16.0-4-lo software package provides CDROM support, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cdrom-core-modules-3.16.0-4-lo
cdrom-core-modules-3.16.0-4-lo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cdrom-core-modules-3.16.0-4-lo package were installed using the commands given below,
