cairo-dock-core software package provides Light eye-candy fully themable animated dock for Linux desktop, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cairo-dock-core
cairo-dock-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cairo-dock-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cairo-dock-core *
You will get with cairo-dock-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
