broadcom-sta-modules software package provides virtual package provided by broadcom-sta-dkms, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install broadcom-sta-modules
broadcom-sta-modules is installed in your system.
Make ensure the broadcom-sta-modules package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep broadcom-sta-modules*
You will get with broadcom-sta-modules package name, version, architecture and description in a table
