brltty-x11 software package provides Access software for a blind person using a braille display - X11 drivers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install brltty-x11
brltty-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the brltty-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep brltty-x11 *
You will get with brltty-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
