boinc-app-seti-dbg software package provides debug symbols for SETI@home, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install boinc-app-seti-dbg
boinc-app-seti-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the boinc-app-seti-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep boinc-app-seti-dbg *
You will get with boinc-app-seti-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
