How to uninstall or remove apm-sleep software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed apm-sleep package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove apm-sleep

Uninstall apm-sleep including dependent package

If you would like to remove apm-sleep and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apm-sleep
Use Purging apm-sleep

If you use with purge options to apm-sleep package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge apm-sleep

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apm-sleep
