acpi-call software package provides virtual package provided by acpi-call-dkms, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install acpi-call
acpi-call is installed in your system.
Make ensure the acpi-call package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acpi-call*
You will get with acpi-call package name, version, architecture and description in a table
