How to uninstall or remove libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429 software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429 package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429

Uninstall libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429

Use Purging libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429

If you use with purge options to libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-pandoc-dev-1.9.4.2-8429
