How to uninstall or remove libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed

Uninstall libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed

Use Purging libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed

If you use with purge options to libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-iteratee-dev-0.8.8.2-ed
