How to uninstall or remove libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed software package from Debian 7 (Wheezy)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed package itself from Debian 7 (Wheezy) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed

Uninstall libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed including dependent package

If you would like to remove libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed

Use Purging libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed

If you use with purge options to libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libghc-cgi-prof-3001.1.8.2-aed
