libgetdata-dev software package provides library to read/write dirfile data - devel files (C, C++, F77, F95), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgetdata-dev
libgetdata-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgetdata-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgetdata-dev *
You will get with libgetdata-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
